KeymasterHi,
My suggestion is to probably use the kadence archive pages to style it however you want to, then integrate the search via the archive page live loader feature.
I don’t think you can achive that layout only via Ajax Search Pro without major customizations to the template files.Ernest Marcinko

KeymasterGreat 🙂

KeymasterOh, I will make sure to look into it, that should be turned off by default for sure. Thank you for the feedback!

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for the details!
My guess is that the auto populate is enabled, can you please check it here: https://i.imgur.com/lvhbI9I.png
Make sure to turn it off, it will prevent auto-triggering the search.Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterSure!
Can you please also check the overall box background: https://i.imgur.com/2rBdI4L.png
That is behind the icons, so that could explain the color. For the alignment, try aligning all the menu items to the middle, as right now everything is on the baseline:
.header-nav li { vertical-align: middle; }Ernest Marcinko

KeymasterHi Peter,
I think there is a way to do this, I sugget using the ASP_Query class for it.
In the arguments list you can specify the engine:
'engine' => 'index'
For the full list of arguments check this documentation.Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi Matt,
Thank you for the details!
Right now it looks like the icon background is black, you can change that here: https://i.imgur.com/FqcroRf.png
As for the expansion, that is also possible, try like this: https://i.imgur.com/zJ8WRuO.png

KeymasterHi,
I guess the return value is an array, it should be converted to a comma separated string though. I may have to check the source code on that, this might be a potential bug somewhere.
Can you add temporary FTP and back-end access? I will try to get to the issue and fix it on the spot.

KeymasterHi,
The issue is not related to Ajax Search Pro. Even when I deactivate the plugin, and try to go to page 2, the issue is still there so it can’t be related to the search.

KeymasterIn that case you could use the Elementor Posts widget, that is possible to integrate with the search bar.
