I believe the best solution for this would be to use a custom javascript instead of PHP.
Add this custom code to the functions.php in your theme/child theme directory (copy from line 3 only!). Before editing, please make sure to have a full site back-up just in case!
Change the ID variable to the search shortcode ID, which you want to affect by this code. The URL is the redirect url. The phrase is appended to the end of it.
