WordPress ping list for 2014

Ernest Marcinko Tutorials, Wordpress 5 Comments

Update Services are tools you can use to let other people know you’ve updated your blog. WordPress automatically notifies popular Update Services that you’ve updated your blog by sending a XML-RPC ping each time you create or update a post. In turn, Update Services process the ping and updates their proprietary indices with your update. Now people browsing sites like Technorati or Sphere can find your most recent postsUpdate Services at WordPress.org

Here is an updated list for year 2014:

Hey exceptional blog! Does running a blog similar to this require a great deal of work?

I’ve virtually no knowledge of computer programming
but I had been hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyways, if you
have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please
share. I understand this is off subject however I simply
    wanted to ask. Kudos!

      Hi!

If you have no programming knowledge, then it’s probably very hard. The best you should do is to hire someone to set up a WordPress blog for you. I recommend the envato microlance switch to find a person: http://www.microlancer.com/

But if you have a lot of free time and you are into programming, you should check out the following sites, they offer great guides:

      Best regards,
      Ernest

Thanks for the Great List of Ping site . My blog posts are taking too long time to get index . Today when I was checking the ping list I found that only default ping site is available and other ping site has been lost , may be because of the updates . Hoping now my blog post will get index faster as before .
