On the General Options -> Behavior panel if you enable the Search in terms option, the plugin will look within all the related terms (including post tags) for the post: https://goo.gl/BCkNIO

Alternatively, if you use the index table engine, you can select which terms to also index with the selected custom post types: https://goo.gl/4tFRHM
