Hi,
I have a number of issues and cannot see how to resolve the problems. I have tried a number of solutions from the knowledgebase to no avail. I have changed the permissions and ownership of all of the recommended directories.
1. The search and settings icons are not displaying on the search bar – the bar is currently added as a test on the Top 20 page – http://www.magicvouchercodes.co.uk/top-20.
2. The search does not return any results
3. The search still appears to suggest topic based on the google search, even though I have disabled the options. It seems that none of the options or style settings are taking effect.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,

Sorry for the inconvenience. The recent version was released just before you purchased and there was a problem with it, which I discovered just after it was approved. I’ve quickly corrected the mistake but there as a roughly 12-24 hour period where the buggy version was still downloadable.
I’ve corrected the mistake, but I still recommend creating a new search instance and deleting the current one, to make sure the options are saved correctly.
Thank you for the proper details, it helped me a lot. Let me know if you notice any other problems.
Best,
Ernest Marcinko
