THANKS FOR YOUR TIME BUT NOT WORKIN AS SUPOST:
1. The order was ok just for a moment … i search for pacha and work ok but now its back to show old post first.
2. And also realize the its using the ” index table Engine” its this right ???’
3. This its the Order and behavior I need in the general searches …if you search for a venue ( pacha , ushuaia, space, violet, )
ALL THE POST IN MAGAZINE ALL THE FIRST ONE in any search THIS IS OK .. I GIVETH PRIORITY but after that
Then has to show the venues ( post type : Fiestas / restaurantes/guia-ibiza)
Second the newest post about the venue ( post type : agenda-ibiza)
EXCLUDE this TAXONOMY ID 691 to all the search
My key words ( the name of the venue) are always on the Title and Excerpt … them on the Relevance options tab I give more relevance to the TITLE and Excerpt and les to the content …Searching for pacha…
now its back to the old post first but for once work and that its wat i saw…First show the venues OK

But now theres another question :
Them why show first those one its only has the PACHA on the content ??? it is just because there are new ???

3. It’s not going to work like that as you don’t have the post type group ordering enabled anymore (because you wanted title matching elements first), so the search won’t prioritize any post type over any other.Just to clarify, the ordering is applied as following, from highest priority to lowest:
Post type ordering > Global Priority Options > Primary ordering > Secondary ordering
My recommendation is:
– Enable Post type ordering, and order the post types the way you want them to appear: https://i.imgur.com/pWl3XuY.png
– Set the Primary Ordering to Date descending and Secondary Ordering to Relevance Descending: https://i.imgur.com/Al9pwIS.png
You can experiment with this later, primary relevance might give you better results.
– On the General Options -> Limits panel enable the “Distribute the posts limit between each post type equally?” option and increase the post type limit to at least 36 or 45: https://i.imgur.com/TqJ91YI.pngThis will display equal amount of results from each post type (you have 9 post types selected, so masimum 4 or 5 per post type), ordered by the post type ordering first, then global priority -> primary -> secodary ordering.
This option ensures, that even if there are many more matching elements on one of the post types, still other post type results are considered as well.After reviewing your request, I believe this is the closest configuration to your requirements.

HI It was working was I need for once ..
I try what you say but don’t work as i need.
I change the configuration to what you told me the other day and works for pacha.
NOTE: Works finde with a ” regular engine” but show a error code on the header, now its deactivate change to this b4 try. With the index table .. the News are not are ring by date…
•Pacha ( posttype Fiesta) date 2-2016
•Restaurante pacha ( post type Restaurante)
•Destino pacha ( post type guia Ibiza)
• next show lates news about pacha (post type agenda Ibiza) nowBut in rest of the cases ( Space, amnesia, ushuaia, ) with the same rules, post types, etc … do not work like Pacha
•Space had a date of 2008.. I change to 2016 and now works why not take that old date ? I change to 2016 and works
•Privilege tus form 5-2014 and not show .. if i change to 2016 also do not apear uno very low in the results
• Amnesia was 2013 not apear .. now change to 10-2016 and worksFor the rest of search .. ” comer paella” “fontaneria” works
Could you please trun to regular engine and check the error ?? thanksSorry about that, it was my bad, I forgot to turn off the debug mode in Ajax Search Pro. Now it should be fine. I have turned back on the Regular engine as well.

The index table would be much better for your case. But it’s not properly configured.
For example, on the search settings panel you have the “news1” post type selected, but on the index table options it is not: https://i.imgur.com/GRlyxfj.png
This means that no results will ever come up from the “news1” custom post type, because it’s not indexed at all.What exactly is wrong with the index table? I have tried a few phrases, but all I can see is much more relevant results for the index table.

The index table results are much more relevant. The ordering is also set to primary relevance, so the results are correct, following the configuration. I’ve looked at the calculations regarding the relevance and keyword occurence, and it was also correct within the code. This follows the configuration as it should. Of course, because as I suggested earlier, if the post limit distribution is turned off, there is no guarantee that posts from every post type will fit into the limit.

The limit distribution makes sure that the limit is divided between post types and equal fractions are returned (if matches) for each post type.

By now I don’t really understand how its works but using priority i get the results I want in more of cases.1 -Using the regular engine works like I want
using the index table ( thats will be better for me ) the post ( agenda-ibiza) are not in date ordering .. not show first the newest.Restaurantes Serch
1 -For this one I say in the source only to show Restaurantes post type
but show also other post types
Search for ” comer en la playa” show “information util” , ” Marina Botafoch” , “guia de restaurantes”
Search for “restaurantes Románticos” show ” Ciudad amurallada de Dalt Vila”
3 – Sear for ” pastis” how can I do to show only the post ?? not the other tu lines ” todos los restaurantes” “buscador de restaurantes”
4- Search for ” Abierto todo el año ” show 21 results … How do I show all the results ??.. what about pages on the results pages ???SUGESTIONS

The results page is controlled by your theme exclusively, you need to customize the corresponding theme file for that. It’s usually the search.php file in the theme directory.Any way to disable the ajax .. just go to the results page when hit ???

Please read the documentation, there is a whole chapter dedicated for performance:The plugin performance is usually almost identical to your server performance. These tips include some useful information, but don’t expect a huge performance impact, as it is also dependent on your server configuration and performance.

Because the query limits on the database level for the regular search and the index table search are different. The index table search returns a bigger raw data set, which is then post-processed via PHP – therefore there is a big difference between the initial results returned. It’s very hard to explain, because it’s complicated, but the bottom-line is that the index table engine ranks up the results differently and orders them afterwards.
