This topic contains 1 reply, has 2 voices, and was last updated by Ernest Marcinko 3 years, 9 months ago.
I have a blog. When I search, the redirection url contains the search variable, but no information about the values in the custom fields. Neither the generic fields nor the custom fields nor the taxonomies. Why does this happen. Do we need to do something more to set up the custom fields.
My custom redirect url shows this:- ?s={phrase}
Do we need to something for to select the filters also…
Hi,
It depends on how the override method is defined. With the GET method, the variables will be passed via the browser address bar, via the POST method, it is passed as a request, which is not visible in the address bar.
Choosing the GET method will send the values across encoded visible in the address bar.
