Hello
For my project i need to show my searchresults in groups. I’ve already managed to group in categories and custom post types, but I’d also need to group in custom fields.
For example, my castom field is called “destination”, so if I search for “france” all result with “destination = france” should be grouped in “results from Destination”.
I believe I already read somewhere that this is not possible, is that correct?
An if it’s not possible, can it be custom coded?Thank you and kind regards

Unfortunately it is true, that is not possible. I would not really recommend custom coding that either – as there is no API yet for the grouping feature either. It is scheduled for a re-work, possibly the next year, with more features.
