I’ve tested out Ajax Search Pro on a development site and am very happy with the results. Is there a way I can export my settings from the dev site and import them into the live site? This would save me about an hour of work of manually going from panel to panel to set up my settings again on the live site.
Thanks for this software. It’s just what we needed.
Hi!
Thank you for your kind words!
There is no built in way yet, but you can try to export the wp_ajaxsearchpro database table (or it’s contents) via phpmyadmin or your preferred database editor tool. This will only export the search instance settings – other submenu settings like caching, fulltext, statistics will remain untouched.
