hi Ernest
Just following on from our support thread last week – could you help with the following query please
if you browse to https://xenopus.fdmserver.com/plasmid
then from the checkbox options select both Plasmids and Xla transgenics — then search for the term noggin — you will see one result appear
but I would like it to also return results for the the term nog which is part of the word noggin — is that possible?
your see the search box in the top header [which is from another plugin] does that – when you search for noggin you also get results for nog included

The word has to match at least one of the selected fields to search – at least partially. The other search does matches more results, because the word “noggin” is in the post contents – but those do not match the filter criteria though.
From the front-end I can also see that those results are from a different custom post type “plasmid”. Can you try selecting that custom post type as well on the
