When I type a word in the search box e.g “tree”, the search starts and brings up a list of results for “tree” like it should. But if I type a word in the search box and hit return or enter like a lot of people automatically do, then it seems like the default wordpress search function takes over and I just get a list of the most recent posts that have nothing to do with the word in the search box.
I’m not techie at all and can’t code, so can you tell me if there is a way to fix this?
Hi!
By default the plugin does indeed redirect to the search results page, but the results override is not automatically enabled. You can enabled it on the General Options -> Logic & Behavior panel. Please check this short documentation chapter about results override.
