Good morning,
I used your filter and would like to limit the search to a single category. Now instead when I search for something specifying in which category, in reality I search in all the posts. Furthermore, we set a custom field (dropdown) where the first element is not the first in the list (obtained with get_values) but a random value. The filter then constructed in this way does not extract the data related to the search in the category. Can you give us directions on how to proceed? You find attached the screenshot files.

Thank you for all the details, it helps a lot.
To search only a single category, this documentation will help you out.
I also checked, and the reason why that specific value is selected is, that it has a double star “**” within it’s title, see the source here: https://i.imgur.com/qaPAAka.png
Best,
The plugin uses that syntax to choose the selected item. Is it possible by any chance to remove that from the original, or is it required there in the airports title?
