Search in specific category attachments content

I’ve created a search instance to search events and the content of the files that are linked to in the events.
I use “Events Organiser”.
The events have links to media files(.doc files primarily).
I’ve applied a specific category name to the media files(though I havent’t figired out how to apply this in the setup of the search instance).
When using the search, I also get results from content of media files that are not related to events.

How can I proceed?

Hi,

This should help you out, if the taxonomy is properly registered to the attachments, and the terms are assigned to the attachments as well. Please mind, that attachments does not have categories by default, so I cannot guarantee that the feature will work correctly.

Thank you, Ernest. At first I had issues with specifik attachments showing up, but a change of taxonomy plugin fixed it.
Now it works great – thank you again.
