Slow search for Buddyboss Groups

What do you suggest we do to improve the speed of our Ajax Search Pro search? We love the features but are using it to search through Buddyboss groups and it is very slow. There is no present way to create an index search with Buddyboss so we can’t speed it up that way. Is thee any way to speed it up? What custom development could we do to fix it? What course of action would you suggest?

Please create and account and see the global search on our site at the top of the main page. It takes about 10 seconds to find groups when searching because we have 1000’s in our system.

Hi,

Well, you can try these to improve the pefromance somewhat. You can also try to run a maintance query on the buddypress groups table:

OPTIMIZE TABLE wp_bp_groups

That should greatly improve the query speed if the table was fragmented by any chance.
