I can’t find anything in the documentation, but I can no longer search for Woo SKU’s in either simple or variable products. Sku search on a simple product is something that the WP engine would get and I was using Search WP with Woocommerce integration to pick up variation sku’s https://searchwp.com/ but bought this because of the layout.
Can you point me in the right direction it is very important that sku’s are searchable…..they are still searchable on the backend btw. It may be something I did with the settings but I also do not see variation sku in the custom field search index area

Thank you for the proper details, it helps me a lot!
The index was simply out of date after the ‘_sku’ field was selected. I quickly re-created the index, tried a few SKU’s for testing, and it seems to be picking them up now.
